RFID - Print substrates optimized for printing by conductive inks
For two decades, Hanita Coatings has specialized in the development and manufacture of topcoated polyester films for print. Our proprietary formulations and substrate treatments optimize print quality, ink anchorage and handling. Drawing on this knowledge and experience, Hanita has developed a new line of print substrates specifically to enhance the performance and adhesion of conductive inks used in the production of printed UHF RFID antennas by gravure, flexo or silk screen processes for RFID tags.
Hanita’s PET substrates for Conductive or Electronic Inks promote:
- Optimal bonding of ink to substrate
- Maximum conductivity of inks
- Improved dimensional stability
- Increased resistance to mechanical stresses during production and use of the RFID tag
Hanita Coatings’ heat stabilized and topcoated PET films for printing by conductive inks can help provide more flexible, robust antennas, printed at higher production speeds. The end result is a more resilient tag, produced more cost-effectively.
